I’m a retired pharmacist turned functional medicine provider and like many midlife women, I was blindsided by perimenopause.
At 41, as I swapped out my winter sweaters for summer clothes, I tried on a pair of crop pants that suddenly wouldn’t zip. I stepped on the scale and realized I had gained 20 pounds seemingly overnight. It was like my body changed without warning. I tried eating less and exercising more but nothing worked. The old tricks no longer applied.
One night, exhausted and frustrated, I realized I hadn’t even tried the very program I had created for others: the Living Light Metabolic Reset.
